Anand, I believe you’re saying that you want to install Oracle 10g on Mac OS X, not Mac OS X Server. If that’s correct, you can’t. The binaries aren’t compatible and you’ll raise signal 10/11 because of the incompatibilities. A while back I broke down to the peer pressure in the APEX community (you know who you are;-). Client-server version interoperability is. Oracle 10.2.0.4 Instant Client for Mac OS X (Intel x86) is available - Instant Client(Archived) Related. I'm having a really hard time installing the Oracle 11g client on Mac OS. Don't use the instant client, it is looking for the full client install. I can't find the patch to update from 10.2.0.1 to 10.2.0.4 for windows 2003 32bit, can someone.
